Hailey's Class Coloring @ Atlanta History Center

Earlier today I chaperoned along with several other parents a field trip that our kindergardeners took to the Atlanta History Center.

Although I have been there at least three times before for corporate meetings and networking events, I never went into the exhibit hall areas which were very cool.

The children heard speakers reenact the Buffalo Soldiers and the NAACP's Walter White as well as about the Harlem Renaissance, early Atlanta history, and an exhibit on the 1996 Centennial Olympics held in Atlanta, GA.

We will definitely visit again with a smaller or with more time to slowly take it all in.

Peace!
